Franco-Monégasque Tax Treaty (1963)
French nationals who moved their residence to Monaco on or after 13 October 1957 remain liable to French income tax on worldwide income (Art. 7). It is never withheld from a Monegasque payslip — it is settled by instalments after the annual return. Monégasques and other nationalities pay no personal income tax at all, a regime in force since 1869.
